Description
Pile weatherseals are fabricated out of polypropylene fibers treated with silicone which are woven to the base, additionally a translucid fin in the middle of the pile offers a superior barrier against air, water, dust and even reduce noise. Pile Seals are ideal for sliding windows in order to preserve the weather seal in hung and slider windows as well as patio-doors. These seals are ideal for installation after construction of windows and to make service calls due to it's flexible base. Materials used are resistant to the UV's which guarantee to conserve the colors for years to come. They are also mold resistant.
Characteristics
- Pile height: min. 3mm (0.120″) to max. 12.9mm (0.51″). Add 0.6mm (0.025'') for fin height. (for all other sizes please contact Servitek)
- Recommended compression 10% to 15%.
- Available in white, beige, gray and black.
